Hwidong Kim

About Me

I am Hwidong Kim, a first-year M.S. student at KAIST, advised by Prof. Tae-Kyun (T-K) Kim.

My research interests revolve around generating and manipulating various 2D or 3D visual contents. Recently, I have been focusing on understanding and simulating 3D human-object interactions (HOI) by leveraging rich diffusion priors.

• [Aug. 2024] DAFT-GAN has been accepted at ACM Multimedia 2024!
• [Jul. 2024] Internship at KAIST Visual AI Group, led by Prof. Minhyuk Sung.
• [May. 2024] I won an outstanding paper award at Korean Institute of Information Technology (KIIT 2024).
• [Sep. 2023] Joined KNU Brain AI Lab as an undergraduate researcher. (Advisor: Prof. Sangtae Ahn.)
